Mahesh Babu is riding high on the success of Srimanthudu. Recently while speaking to the media the actor said that this film has brought lots of change in him. Last evening Mahesh Babu posted on Twitter that he adopting his village Burripalem. This was known to everyone. Now, he has come forward to adopt another village in Telangana state.

He tweeted, “The #SmartVillage initiative lead by @ncbn garu prompted me to adopt my own village, Burripalem.” Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu and his brother-in-law Galla Jayadev inspired him to do something for his village Burripalem in the Guntur distrct of Andhra Pradesh, the native place of his father actor Krishna.

Also he would be adopting another village in the economically backward district of Mahbubnagar in Telangana state. Upon the Telangana state’s Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister KTR’s suggestion, he agreed to adopt a village in the district. Hopefully after this move by Mahesh Babu, many other actors and affluent personalities will be influenced and will also adopt villages.
