Mani Sharma in consideration for Mahesh's next?

It was widely reported that Devi Sri Prasad will not be repeated for Mahesh Babu – Vamshi Paidipally’s second movie as the music composer’s work for ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ received a lot of criticism. Although DSP gave super hit songs to Mahesh and Vamshi Paidipally’s ‘Maharshi’, they are now having second thoughts.

Telugucinema.com earlier reported that Thaman is being considered for this project in the place of DSP. But fresh reports from this camp is that producer Dil Raju suggested Mani Sharma’s name to consider as the senior composer is now back in great form after ‘iSmart Shankar’. 

Sources close to the project say no decision about music composer is yet taken. Mahesh Babu will take a final call after Vamshi wraps up the script work. The story is still being cooked. DSP might be retained if Mahesh Babu wants it. Or Mani Sharma may step in. 

The combination of Mahesh Babu and Mani Sharma is considered as one of the bests in the Tollywood industry. ‘Okkadu’, ‘Athadu’, and ‘Pokiri’ were some of the biggest blockbusters in their combination.
