Mehreen becomes busy in Tollywood

After earning rave reviews with her performance in Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Mehreen has struck gold in Telugu film industry. In a short span of time, the actress has become one of the most sought after actresses in the industry and this year alone, she’s busy shooting for four different films in Telugu including Ravi Teja’s Raja The Great, Sai Dharam Tej’s Jawaan, Sharawanand-Maruthi’s film, and another bilingual film with Sundeep Kishan.

Earlier this year, she made her Bollywood debut in Phillauri, which also had Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role. Talking about her career, Mehreen stated that she’s extremely happy with the appreciation that she got for her performance in Phillauri and whole-heartedly thanked the audience for such a warm welcome in Telugu. Apart from making her foray in Telugu and Hindi, Mehreen will also be seen in a Tamil film in which she’s paired alongside Sundeep Kishan. She’s one of the few actresses to have made her debut in three languages within a year.

Although she has been in talks for several other projects, at the moment, she’s busy with the four projects that she’s doing right now. “Mehreen is a thorough professional. There’s no truth in the rumours that she has backed out of projects due to lack of dates. Yes, she has been in talks for few other films; however, nothing has been finalised so far,” a source close to the actress says.

All in all, 2017 is going to be a busy year ahead for Mehreen, who’s impressing everyone in the industry with her dedication and professionalism.
