Hours after Naga Chaitanya and Samantha announced their separation, Nagarjuna took to social media to term their decision to seek divorce was unfortunate.
He said both his son Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are dear to him. He said their family will always cherish the moments spent with their daughter-in-law Samantha.
“With a heavy heart let me say this! Whatever happened between Sam and Chay is very unfortunate. What happens between a wife and husband is very personal. Sam and Chay both are dear to me, My family will always cherish the moments spent with Sam and she will always be dear to us! May God bless them both with strength,” he wrote.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation in a dignified manner.
Samantha is also not demanding any alimony. She also dropped the surname of ‘Akkineni’ three months ago, prompting the rumors about their separation since then.
