Not doing NTR Biopic, clarifies Nithya Menen

Nithya Menen was offered to play the role of Basavatarakam, late NTR’s wife in director Teja’s film that is going to be a biopic on NT Rama Rao. However, Nithya Menen has turned down the offer. 
 
“It is true that I was offered the role but I am not doing it. I have informed them the reasons. There are no hard feelings,” she said. 
 
Nithya Menen who was recently seen in ‘Awe’ is yet to sign her next Telugu film. The actress also informed the media that she is currently writing a script in the hope to direct it herself. She plans to turn director sometime next year.
