Peddi: Prathyangira Cinemas to release in North America

Ram Charan is gearing up for a grand theatrical outing with his mass action drama “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 30 under the production of Venkata Satish Kilaru and his banner Vriddhi Cinemas.

In the overseas market, Prathyangira Cinemas has secured the North America rights and is planning a wide release across the territory, with premieres slated for April 29. Given the distributor’s impressive success rate, expectations are high for a solid opening overseas.

Ram Charan will be seen in a rugged and demanding role that requires multiple transformations. His intense screen presence and energetic dance numbers are expected to be among the film’s major highlights. Ever since his first look was unveiled, there has been strong speculation that the performance could earn him major accolades.

After making a striking debut with Uppena, Buchi Babu Sana returns with a far more ambitious project in Peddi, mounted on a larger scale with greater emotional depth and technical polish.

Presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles. The music is composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman, adding further scale to the project.

With Ram Charan adopting a raw and earthy avatar, “Peddi” promises a high-voltage cinematic experience. As the promotional campaign gathers pace, anticipation around the film continues to surge.
