After going through a couple of postponements, the team behind “Peddi” has now zeroed in on a new release date. As per industry buzz, the film is being lined up for a June 25 theatrical release.
This time, the makers reportedly took extra care before locking the date to ensure there are no further last-minute changes.
Before making the official announcement, the team plans to wrap up the remaining portions of the shoot, including a special number featuring Shruti Haasan.
Interestingly, despite the repeated delays, the film hasn’t lost momentum. Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” has Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine.
AR Rahman is the music director. The film is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
