The makers of “Peddi”, starring Ram Charan, have officially revised the film’s release plans. Originally scheduled for April 30, the film has now been postponed to June, with the team citing the need for additional time to ensure better quality.
While the exact release date hasn’t been formally announced, the makers have confirmed a June release window. They also stated that the shoot is nearly complete, with only a song left to be filmed.
However, the announcement has triggered speculation on social media about possible reshoots. Reports suggest that certain portions may require re-filming due to concerns over visual effects quality, though there has been no official confirmation regarding this.
Meanwhile, fans of Ram Charan and sources close to the team have pushed back against these rumors, maintaining that the film is on track for a June 4 release. According to them, only minor patchwork and the remaining song shoot are pending.
“Peddi” features Ram Charan in the role of a sportsman, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead.
