A grandfather invites all his family members who are settled in faraway places by informing them that he is diagnosed with cancer, his days are numbering. They come down to Rajamundry to spend time with him in his ‘last days’. Celebrations begin then every day to make sure that the grandfather enjoys every moment of his last days. This is the crux of the story of director Maruthi’s ‘Pratiroju Pandaage’ featuring Sathyaraj as a grandfather, Sai Dharam Tej as his grandson and Raashi Khanna Tej’s girlfriend.
Does it sound familiar, bring the memories of ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’, the recent blockbuster? A character in this trailer played by Rao Ramesh gets the same doubt. But this doesn’t have the resemblance to ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’, it is a satire.
The trailer seems to be a concoction of family emotions and fun elements.
‘Pratiroju Pandaage’ is produced by GA2 Pictures in association with UV Creations. The film is scheduled for December 20, 2019 release. Thaman has provided the music.
