Rajinikanth’s Jailor to avoid dark humor?

‘Jailer’ is the title for Rajnikanth’s upcoming film. Nelson Dilip Kumar is the director and he is popular for dark humor in his films. We have seen this in his films, ‘Kokila’ (Nayanthara starrer), ‘Varun Doctor’ and ‘Beast’.

His last directorial venture ‘Beast’ starring Vijay bombed. This was because his kind of dark comedy did not go well with the audience. This kind of comedy was not appreciated and the director was trolled.

Keeping this in mind the makers have decided that dark comedy will be at its minimum in ‘Jailer’. The focus of this film will be on mass elements and mainstream entertainment.

Aishwarya Rai will play the leading lady in ‘Jailer’. Kannada actor Shivaraj Kumar will be seen in an important role. Priyanka Mohan and Ramya Krishna are also a part of this film.
