Ram Charan, in a recent video interview alongside director Buchi Babu Sana, opened up about “Peddi,” his career and several interesting aspects of the film. Speaking about the project, the actor revealed that he instantly loved the script the moment Buchi narrated it to him.
The recently released trailer gave audiences a glimpse into the core plot of the film, which revolves around a multi-sport athlete who takes up the challenge of winning a wrestling championship to bring change to his village. Ram Charan’s character travels to Delhi in pursuit of becoming a champion, and the actor described the Delhi portion as his favorite segment in the film, calling it the emotional heart of the story.
Interestingly, the trailer intentionally held back a major twist. Ram Charan hinted that the twist connected to the Delhi episode will leave audiences stunned and described it as something highly unusual.
Drawing a comparison with Buchi Babu Sana’s debut film “Uppena,” which featured a shocking revelation involving the hero’s character, Ram Charan stated that the twist in “Peddi” is even bigger and more impactful.
