The film “Nawab Cafe,” starring Shiva Kandukuri, Rajeev Kanakala, and Teju Ashwini, is all set to release in theatres on February 20. Produced by Radha V Papudippu under the Harshika Productions banner and directed by Pramod Harsha, the team recently interacted with the media at a press meet.
Speaking at the event, Shiva Kandukuri said the film was originally titled “Chai Wala”, but the makers decided to change it after adhering to censor guidelines. “Nawab Cafe was actually the title Pramod had in mind when he first narrated the story to me. Now, it truly feels like destiny that the film is releasing with that name,” he said.
Producer Venkat clarified that while there was no official directive to change the title, discussions with the censor authorities led to the decision. Director Pramod Harsha noted that the story is inspired by real-life incidents and experiences.
Marking her debut, actress Teju Ashwini expressed confidence in the film, stating that strong content will always find audience support, regardless of the title. “Nawab Café” hits screens on February 20.
