Director Sukumar is providing oxygen cylinders and concentrators to the needy COVID-19 patients in Andhra Pradesh. He has donated Rs 25 lakhs for this purpose to Amalapuram’s Azad Foundation.
The charity foundation has already distributed Oxygen cylinders to some patients. More will be distributed upon receiving the new order shortly. Sukumar is coordinating from Hyderabad with the help of his friends to distribute the cylinders and concentrators.
Sukumar said it pained him to see people dying due to lack of oxygen. He is currently directing ‘Pushpa’ with Allu Arjun and the film’s shoot was stopped due to COVID-19 second wave.
