Suriya to do another film for Jnanavel Raja

“Kanguva” failed miserably. The film became the costliest failure for producer Jnanavel Raja. Hoping to score a pan-Indian blockbuster, Jnanavel Raja invested money heavily in the project and encouraged the team to get the best output in terms of visual effects.

Despite the appreciation for the visuals, Siva’s direction of the film faced significant trolling. The film became a costly dud due to the director’s poor narrative skills.

To bail out Jnanavel Raja, Suriya reportedly agreed to film for the producer without remuneration. They are planning to team up for a modestly budgeted drama.

Incidentally, Gnanvela Raja is also a cousin to Suriya.
