Testing time for Rajamouli's father

Rajamouli’s father and popular writer V Vijayendra Prasad is now basking in the success of ‘Baahubali 2’. He penned the story and screenplay for both ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali The Conclusion’. He wrote scripts for many hit movies in the past, but the senior writer is now enjoying limelight as ‘Baahubali’ writer.

But real test comes for him in the form of ‘Sri Valli’ now. ‘Sri Valli’ is latest directorial venture. He has directed ‘Rajanna’ earlier but he didn’t taste as success director. His latest directorial venture is now set for release.

‘Sri Valli’ has been waiting for the release date.

“The answer to why Kattappa killed Baahubali was revealed. Now I need to answer to the other question – when will my ‘Sri Valli’ get a release date? We thought if we release ‘Sri Valli’ post ‘Baahubali 2’, it would get good hype. So, we are planning to bring it to the theaters in June,” Vijayendra Prasad explained the reason for the delay.

The film will be released in three languages and it will get exact release date shortly. Will he get the same success his son is enjoying as director? Vijayendra Prasad has been trying to taste success as director. Will his dream be fulfilled with ‘Sri Valli’ that stars newcomers Rajath and Neha as the lead pair? The film is an erotic thriller.
