“Meet the ferocious, patriotic, and daredevil Wild Dog,” announces the trailer of Wild Dog, Nagarjuna’s upcoming action thriller. Nagarjuna is Vijay Varma, an NIA officer in the film. People call him Wild Dog, as he mercilessly kills terrorists, instead of arresting them.
The trailer shows the wild nature of Vijay Varma. It begins with the bomb blasts at Gokul Chat in Koti, which took place in 2007. The film is said to be based on real-life incidents.
The action drama is mainly shot in Hyderabad and Himachal Pradesh. Saiyami Kher, Prakash Sudarshan, Ali Reza and Dia Mirza play important roles. Directed by Ahishor Solomon, it is bankrolled by Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainment.
