Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit crosses $1M in North America

Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, has crossed the coveted $1 million milestone at the North America box office.

Despite mixed reviews, the film has maintained a steady run, largely driven by Adivi Sesh’s consistent following among the US diaspora. His strong track record in the market has once again worked in the film’s favor.

Tuesday’s collections and ongoing deals helped the film push past the $1 million mark.

Trade estimates suggest that the break-even point is around $1.1 million, and with the current momentum, “Dacoit” is expected to enter the profit zone in the coming days.

This also marks Adivi Sesh’s third film to achieve the $1 million milestone in North America after Major and HIT: The Second Case.

“Dacoit” is an action love story, written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. The film was directed by cinematographer Shaneil Deo in his maiden attempt.
