Amala Paul seeks no alimony from Vijay

Amala Paul and her director-husband A Vijay have initiated legal process for ending of their marriage. On Saturday, they appeared before a family court in seeking divorce by mutual consent under Section 13(b) of Hindu Marriage act.

Amala Paul married A L Vijay in 2014 but differences between them cropped last year and since March 2015 they have been living separately. Reports about their separation appeared in media recently and both of them informed the media about the divorce. The six-month statutory judicial separation period for the couple has now begun. Divorce by mutual consent will be given to them by end of the six months if they don’t change their mind during this period.

Amala Paul didn’t seek any alimony.
