Gaayapadda Simham for May 1 release, with conditions apply

Tharun Bhascker, actor-director, has joined hands with debutant director Kasyap Sreenivas for the unique entertainer “Gaayapadda Simham.” He plays the lead role in the film.

The makers today announced that the film will arrive in theaters on May 1. However, producer-distributor Dil Raju stated that the date comes with a rider: conditions apply. “Since Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ is locked for April 30, it will be tough to allot theaters for this film. If ‘Peddi’ arrives on that date, this film will be pushed by a week,” he stated.

Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights and will release the film worldwide.

The film is being presented by Pavan Sadineni, who is also busy with his directorial venture “Aakasamlo Oka Tara,” starring Dulquer Salmaan. The project is backed by producers Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios.

The ensemble cast includes Faria Abdullah, Maanasa Choudhary, Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
