Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Liger’ is finally set to resume its shoot. Even as the entire industry had returned long back to the shootings, Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda have waited until now. The film’s shooting was halted in March 2021 due to lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The boxing drama will now resume its shoot in Mumbai from February 11th. Starring Ananya Panday as the female lead and Ramya Krishna as Vijay Deverakonda’s mother, ‘Liger’ is said to be an emotional drama revolving around boxing.
Karan Johar is co-producer of this pan-India project.
‘Liger’ is an all-important film for Vijay Deverakonda as his previous films tanked at the box-office. Plus, Karan Johar has many plans for the star if this gets succeeds in the Hindi market.
