“Amigos,” the upcoming film from Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and first-time director Rajendra Reddy, is an action comedy. Ashika Ranganath, the Kananda actress, makes her Telugu debut in this film.
She met with the media and discussed the film ahead of its release. “I was offered a few roles in Tollywood, but logistical problems with call sheets and Covid prevented me from accepting any of them,” she said when asked about her move to Tollywood. “I’m delighted to have made my debut in Amigos.”
When asked about her role, she stated that she has a completely unique role “It’s a fantastic role for a Telugu heroine, with some really funny and cute parts. It is, indeed, a pivotal figure. Even though Kalyan Ram sir dominates the screen, I’m still given the opportunity to shine,” she explained.
For this film, the song “Enno Raathrulosthayi Gani” was remixed. Balakrishna and Divya Bharathi appeared in the original song.
“I consider it an honour to be included in the legendary song “Enno Raathrulosthayi Gani,” she said.
Amigos, produced by Y. Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, will be released on February 10, 2023.
