Nargis Fakhri to debut in Telugu in a big film?

Nargis Fakhri, who gained popularity in Bollywood with her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in “Rockstar,” may finally be making her Telugu cinema entry. The actress was recently seen in the Bollywood hit “Housefull 5.”

Telugu filmmakers have tried multiple times in the past to bring Nargis into Tollywood. She was once considered for a role in “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” but the project did not materialize for her.

Now, the latest buzz in film circles is that director Gopichand Malineni has approached the actress for a special song in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ongoing film, tentatively referred to as #NBK111. Sources say discussions are currently underway, though nothing has been officially finalized yet.

In recent times, Telugu filmmakers have increasingly been bringing popular Bollywood faces on board for special songs to add glamour and wider appeal. 

Mouni Roy recently performed a special number in “Vishwambhara,” while Shruti Haasan is said to have done one for “Peddi.” If talks succeed, Nargis Fakhri could be the next Bollywood actress to feature in a high-profile Telugu special song.
