USA: Ala Vaikunthapurramloo creates a non-Baahubali record

‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ is not slowing down at all. It is setting new records at the USA box-office. The film has seen a huge growth in its second Saturday. The film has grossed more than 300k dollars on Saturday taking its total cumulative gross to $2.5 million. A gross of more than 300k dollars on the second Saturday is a new record for a Telugu movie. Only two Baahubali movies had achieved such feat before. Not even ‘Rangasthalam’ had managed to collect such a huge amount.

3.Ala Vaikunthapurramloo – $375k

‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ has also become number one hit in director Trivikram’s career as the film went past the lifetime gross of his previous blockbuster ‘A Aa’ ($2.44 million). It will now comfortably touch $3 million next week. It might join the list of all-time-highest grossing movies in the USA.
