Sarileru Neekevvaru joins $2 million club

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ which has slowed down its run in the last three or four days has finally crossed the coveted milestone of $2 million at the USA box-office. The film’s nearly 100k dollars gross on Saturday has made the film to go past the $2 million mark.

This is Mahesh Babu’s third film that has grossed more than $2 million at the US box-office after ‘Srimanthudu’ ($2.89 million) and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ ($3.4 million). 

For the director Anil Ravipudi, this is the second consecutive $2 million movie after ‘F2’. However, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is unlikely to break-even given the high-costs involved. The film is produced by Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments banner. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ starred Vijayashanti in a key role and Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine.
