Venkatesh starrer ‘Guru’ has got a good start at box office during the last weekend. The movie that released on 31st March along with two other movies – Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Rogue’ and Nayanathara starrer ‘Dora’ took slow start but saw huge surge in collections on Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday collections are higher than the first day. The talk and word-of-mouth is strong about the film. It may see more growth this week. On the other hand, Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Rogue’ and ‘Dora’ didn’t see much jump in the collections from the day one.
‘Guru’ is remake of ‘Saala Khadoos’. Venkatesh played a matured guy sans makeup.
