Deepika Padukone has been noticeably absent from public appearances alongside her husband Ranveer Singh in recent weeks, sparking fresh speculation in Bollywood circles.
Though the couple was recently spotted on a dinner outing in Mumbai, Deepika has not been accompanying Ranveer to high-profile events. This has raised eyebrows, especially at a time when his latest film, “Dhurandhar 2”, is dominating the box office.
Industry buzz suggests that Deepika may be consciously avoiding public discussions around the “Dhurandhar” franchise and its massive success due to its perceived political undertones. Reports indicate that her personal views may differ from the themes portrayed in the films featuring Ranveer Singh.
The speculation gained momentum when Ranveer attended the third anniversary celebrations of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre alone. The grand event, hosted by Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities, most of whom arrived with their spouses. Deepika’s absence stood out.
Sources further claim that she may continue to skip joint appearances until “Dhurandhar 2” completes its theatrical run. The film has already entered its third week and reportedly grossed around Rs 1500 crore worldwide.
Despite the ongoing speculation, there is no indication of any strain in their personal relationship, with insiders maintaining that the couple is doing well.
