Renu Desai has approached the police alleging sustained online abuse and harassment. She met the Cyberabad Cyber Crime DCP and filed a formal complaint against individuals who have been targeting her with objectionable comments on social media.
Expressing concern, Renu Desai stated that certain users have been crossing boundaries for quite some time on her social media platforms. She reportedly submitted evidence against four specific accounts that have been posting abusive and inappropriate remarks.
She currently resides in Hyderabad with her children, Akira Nandan and Aadya.
Renu Desai is also active in films and is presently working on a project in which she plays a mother-in-law. The actress is often subjected to trolling, especially for her political and social commentary shared on Instagram.
