Varun Tej sustained a minor injury while practicing volleyball in Hyderabad for his upcoming film “Bhari.”
The actor was preparing for his role in the film, which is set against the backdrop of village-level volleyball competitions in coastal Andhra. During a practice session, he reportedly fell and got injured.
Sources say the injury is not serious, but Varun Tej will undergo a minor surgery at Apollo Hospitals as a precaution.
“Bhari” is being produced by Niharika Konidela under the Pink Elephant Pictures banner and directed by Yadhu Vamsi, known for “Committee Kurrollu.”
The film’s regular shoot is yet to begin and is likely to be slightly delayed due to the injury.
