Ram Pothineni-starrer Andhra King Taluka, which hit theatres last month, is now set for its OTT debut. Netflix, which has acquired the digital streaming rights, officially announced today that the film will begin streaming from December 25 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by Mahesh Babu P and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film received decent reviews upon its theatrical release but failed to sustain momentum at the box office.
Despite its underwhelming theatrical performance, Ram Pothineni expressed satisfaction over the buzz the film managed to generate. The actor is hopeful that Andhra King Taluka will find its audience and receive a warmer response after its Netflix premiere this Christmas.
Andhra King Taluka revolves around the story of a die-hard movie star fan and his emotional bond with a superstar, portrayed by Upendra. The film also weaves in a romantic track between Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni, and Mahalaxmi, portrayed by Bhagyashri Borse, both of whom play pivotal roles in the narrative.
